President of American Finance Association Visited Our School

        On June 1, President of American Finance Association Maureen O''Hara who is also a famous finance expert and professor of Cornell University and another professor David Easley visited our university and made a speech named Market and Microstructure——Attention on the Fine Design of China’s Capital Market. Before the speech, President of RUC, Honor President of Hanqing Advanced Economical and Financial Research Center Ji Baocheng met the visitors.

        Vice-President of RUC, President of Hanqing Advanced Economical and Financial Research Center Chen Yulu introduced two professors’ academic achievements and expressed his warmly welcome in his address. Maureen O''''''''''''''''Hara has been the first female president of American Finance Association and is honored as the representative learner of theory study of finance market’s microstructure. Professor David Easley is the director of Cornell University’s Analysis Economics Center and vice-editor of the famous periodical Journal of Economic Theory. The academic speech was held by President of Economics School Professor Yang Ruilong. 

        This has been the second top-class academic activity organized by Hanqing Advanced Economical and Financial Research Center after the Nobel Economics Winner Joseph E. Stiglitz’s academic report meeting on March 8 this year. Hanqing Advanced Economical and Financial Research Center of RUC is a new teaching and research basement for catching up with the international economic subjects revolutionary trend. It tries to exert the subject advantages on economics and finance of RUC, through bringing and absorbing the advanced experience of foreign education and international top-class learners, work to the international standards of teaching, research and educating.
